A Note About Our Worship

Pastor Debra and Congregation Share the Peace of Christ The Holy Eucharist is the principal act of Christian worship on the Lord's Day and other major Feasts. In all services, the entire Christian assembly participates in such a way that the members of each order within the Church, lay persons and priest, fulfill key roles in our worship. Because of our shared ministry with St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Stone Harbor, approximately one Sunday per month, The Rev. John Sosnowski, Rector at St. Mary's presides at the Sunday liturgy at St. Barnabas while our vicar presides at the liturgy at St. Mary's. We are grateful for this shared ministry and partnership.

Worship Times

Sundays:

8:00 AM ~  Holy Eucharist - Rite One
                     . . . a quieter, more contemplative service without music
9:30 AM ~ Holy Eucharist - Rite Two
                     . . . includes choir and congregational singing

Thursdays:

10:00-AM ~ Holy Eucharist
. . . includes anointing and laying on of hands for healing

Children are always welcome and encouraged to worship with their families in the sanctuary.

In addition, we offer church school and a nursery at the second service on the Sunday following Labor Day and continuing through June.
