What Is It?
A new contemporary series of faith-based courses will begin in mid-November. The class will follow the outline of Marcus Borg’s Embracing an Adult Faith and will offer opportunity for discussions about God, Jesus, salvation, community and practice. The Rev. Debra Bullock will facilitate the class and will offer insights into the unique aspects of the Episcopal / Anglican tradition.
Our objective is to create an open and inclusive environment that appeals to people wondering about The Episcopal Church, as well as our existing congregation members. We hope participants will share their ideas and questions and find a place to exchange thoughts and opinions. A variety of learning materials will be used including video, written materials, small group discussion, and large group forum.
Who Is It For?
This series is open to any one (ages 16 and older) who is interested in learning more about The Episcopal Church or in continuing their faith journey in community. It is especially appropriate for those who are interested in receiving the sacrament of baptism (or who have a child or grandchild they would like to present for baptism) and for those who which to be confirmed, received or to renew their baptismal vows.
